About Joeys Bar

Joeys Bar is a warm friendly pub in Ballymoney run by the family of the late Joey Dunlop.

Joeys Bar Description

Joeys Bar is understandably a motorcycle racing themed bar that has been run by the Dunlops since 1984. The bar has always been a shrine to racing fans from all over the world and even since the untimely death of Joey in 2000, it still pulls the biking fans to this day. The bar has a large amount of photos and memorabilia on display along with two of Joeys bikes, one being the famous Honda RC45 that hangs from the ceiling in the front bar and the other in the more recent display cabinet in our lounge. We also cater for other sports and show most football matches every weekend without fail.

Lovely place that’s like a shrine to the Legend Joey Dunlop. Friendly staff too and one of the best pints of Guinness I’ve had in Northern Ireland. A must see for any road racing fan.

Few pints of Guinness and a few games of pool. Craic with the locals and some joeys memorabilia to take home. Very humble to be in the presence of the greatest biker of all times.
