As part of the #PainttheTownPink campaign, Action Cancer is asking local businesses to help raise funds for our breast-screening service in the run up to, and throughout the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
While our breast screening service is entirely free of charge to local women, aged 40-49 and 70+ (outside the NHS screening range), each breast screening costs Action Cancer £80, so we are asking that every business to make a real effort to raise a minimum of £80.
