Hi,
I'm Kate and I'm a graduate Sports Therapist with a First Class Hons degree from Staffordshire University in Sports Therapy BSc Hons. I'm a member of the Sport Therapy Association and the Society of Sports Therapist. I'm insured by Balens Insurance.

I have experience working with elite athletes at the top of their sports to our student lead clinics working with every day people suffering with aches, pains and ongoing problems. I've also had the opportunity to work alongside orthopedic surgeons and spinal surgeons. All of this experience has helped me gain the knowledge I need to provide the best treatment possible.

Sports Therapy is an aspect of healthcare that is specifically concerned with the prevention of injury and the rehabilitation of the patient back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and sports specific fitness, regardless of age and ability.
As a therapist, I use the latest techniques and research to provide treatment for: Injury Assessment and Treatment, Pre and Post Event Sports Massage, Maintenance Massage, Soft Tissue Treatments, mobilisations and advice for athletes and every day athletes.

Sports Massage has been used for the treatment and prevention of injuries. Its mainly used on athletes or active individuals to aid their recovery, maintenance and treating injuries. It combines 3 forms of massage which includes deep transverse frictions and trigger point treatments.

As a therapist, I combine the various treatments such as massage, stretching, mobilisations and exercises to tailor the treatment specifically to your needs.
