Our distributor Harleys in Kenya kindly hosted a Student Day at their offices in Nairobi on Weds 16 May. Optometry students from Kenya Medical Training College – KMTC, attended a product information & training session, followed by lunch. There was much fun and enthusiasm particularly during the hands on sessions with Keeler's new TonoCare hand held air puff tonometer and the PSL Portable Slit Lamp. OPTOVERSITY CHALLENGE 2017 - Hosted by Out of the Box Optics - is a brand new, social and fun, one-day competition between final year students of Optometry in aid of Vision Care for Homeless People. Keeler were proud to donate some vouchers as prizes for the challege. The students each got a voucher for taking part and collectively they managed to raise an incredible £2788.51 for Vision Care for Homeless People!

Staff from the Langford Vets and Bristol Veterinary School were spotted using our Vantage Plus LED whilst examining Maya the Jaguar Cub in the first episode of BBC2's 'Big Cats About The House', a documentary following life at the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent.

Keeler and D-Health are proud to have donated Ophthalmoscopes and Pen Torches to the Korle-Bu Ophthalmic Nursing school in Ghana to support the Level 400 students. Wishing them well in their studies!
