The facility opened to the public on 4th March 2002. It has an impressive sporthall with pulastic floor; changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities for males, females and the disabled; it also has a fully equipped kitchen. The new building is linked to the existing bowling club, while a children's play park and soccer /gaelic pitch are in close proximity.

Kilrea Sports Complex is used mainly for indoor sports including badminton, football, bowling, netball, tennis and table-tennis. It is also an extremely popular venue for birthday parties - we provide a bouncy castle and the use of the kitchen all for £25. 00. The hall is also suitable for concerts, exhibitions and community groups.
