Info for all the Kirkistown competitors. READ LAST PARAGRAPH ITS THE IMPORTANT ONE.
A new timing system has been introduced at Kirkistown. Live time online can now be accessed.
... In essence this will mean that anyone with a laptop with cellular access (built in or USB dongle) will be able to view the live timing as the race enfolds. It will be basically the same information that the Observers will see on their screens.
The stream will be available via the following URL
timing.rhwright.co.uk
This introduces a potential issue for some competitors as it can no longer handle mixed transponders in the same race. You have to declare the race type when building the race data in advance of the meeting, i.e. is a Car race, Bike race of Kart race.
So for those competitors who insist on using the yellow Kart transponders in a Car race, will not be timed.
