Sun going down after a very busy day!

Went to Portrush with the dog and no other human, so had to find a dog friendly cafe. This place was great - I had a lovely latte and muffin out on the balcony at the rear. Lots of water bowls for Casper to drink from . Views were fantastic on this sunny first day of Spring.

User

Staff were more than helpful and put together the most delicious salad for my special dietary requirements. The rest my group had toasted sandwiches and they were all very tasty. The staff where very friendly and toilets clean, only criticism is there is only one toilet to serve all

User

Love it... can’t believe we haven’t been sooner! Friendly staff, lovely coffee and good selection of treats! The view is amazing.. especially the out door ‘dog friendly’ balcony... would be lovely to see it open at night serving meals, with heated lights, on a sunny night it would be such a gorgeous setting

I was in Portrush golfing yesterday and was desperate for a coffee with a view. Well nothing prepared me for KOKO, what a place and a view to die for. If you're ever in the "port' it's just behind Barry's with uninterrupted views of the beach and you can see lnishowen from your chair. The coffee was lovely and the staff were fantastic ! I can't wait to get back !

Great view, coffee and staff

Gorgeous ice cream cones. Recommend a cup for the babs drips and fallen ice creams if you are eating inside. Delicious coffee and cake and the staff are very helpful. Big chalkboard for the kiddies to make their own creations (time to drink your coffee in peace). A lovely all round experience.. We so wanted the couch though!!

User

Fantastic food with a view! Staff friendly and goes out of there way to look after us! I have an autistic son who they let see there appliances as he is obsessed! Fantastic place and very inviting and good with children with additional needs x

Best coffee shop in triangle area, food great! Bacon poached eggs yum, americano lovely. Have to say Christopher makes the nicest coffee...today they could have been a little hotter made by a new staff member, don’t mean to be picky but I’m used to the place being perfect

User

We love KOKO though were disappointed that on our last visit on a cold stormy day the fire was not on. To be fair KOKO was its usual warm welcoming self!

One customer, probably a student, had sole occupancy of the two settee's with their PC all the time we were there.

As the place was busy I would have expected the customer to have given a little consideration to other customers.

Once the coffee shop got busy the customer should have vacated the settees and occupied a smaller table.

My wife and I sat happily at a table for two enjoying our lunch, a second coffee and the tempting tray bakes.

A little consideration of others can go a long way.

Love the location and views. Super, if you get the sofas!! Service is a little slow, due to lack of staff on busy days. The staff are doing their best - just need more of them. Also, I consistently find the lattes to be cool. Always have to ask for extra hot, and even then, normally need heated more. The machines' temperature settings maybe....However, doesn't put me off going. The draw, for most people, is the view.

A wee piece of heaven, stunning views and food. Staff could do with being a bit more friendly though

User

Was in today for a hot chocolate we ask for luxury hot chocolate and it wasn't very luxury at all!! Its wasn't hot just Luke warm and there wasn't must taste of chocolate if it either, no cream either!! wasn't very impressed!!

User

Lovely setting but service is awful!!! Sat for 45 minutes waiting for three sandwiches ask staff how long it would be and he never came back to let us know. Staff walk around with sour faces on them. While there 2 families walked out of premises as they couldn't wait any longer for their orders and we followed we told staff we were going they said "sorry but we can't help it if orders keep coming in!"

User

I have to say the way myself and my daughter were treated by staff yesterday was totally unprofessional! We ordered food for myself my granddaughter and my daughter! My daughters meal never arrived which may i add was just a plain bowl of chicken/veg soup!!! When a member of staff was approached ref the missing soup he was dam right rude non apologetic and just told me i hadnt been charged for it! Plus i hadnt ordered soup! Hello!! Even though when he went over the items i was so called charged for i was over charged by £3.90!! Soup eventually arrived which was a total bowl.of water with a few veg in it which my daughter never ate! Grandaughters toastie would have needed a Magnifying glass to find the cheese! I know the day was hot out side and people get tired but i am sorry you need to get staff that have been well trained and know how to give good customer service! Myself and my daughter will never be back after such horrible rude staff and bad service!!!!!

User

Called in today for a hot chocolate with my grandson. I was charged £6.60 for 2 luxury hot chocolates- these turned out to be half filled cups of luke warm milk- slight taste of chocolate, couple of marshmallows, no cream. Ridiculously over priced and very disappointed indeed.
