ok guys..25th anniversary celebrations will take place on saturday the 8th of june..starting with a team comp at the grove wellness centre.the comp will be straight submission,weight categories are ..-76...-86...-100 and +100...white belts in one section...coloured belts in the other. kids sections..please see Robert for weights. entry to the comp is £5 and you get a free 25th anniversary shirt.
later that evening,we have a function at mckennas bar in town booked for the adul...ts.

first session of the new timetable starts this thursday..6 - 7 is now jiu jitsu comp drills and rolls....this session is to develop the skills and stamina for jiu jitsu tournaments..even if you have no thoughts of competing in the near future,this session will improve your fitness and technical awareness.The session is performed at your pace....so you wont be out of your depth...hope to see you all there.

I will be having a team assessment session on saturday the 25th of may..session will start at 11:30 and last 2 hours.stripes etc will be sorted then.

a few things to keep in your head guys...this weekend we have the seminar with rodrigo in Dublin..we are meeting at hillview at 10am to travel down...so try to be on time!! next weeks classes will be at the city centre venue starting on monday at 6..I'll allow a few minutes for any lateness as Im sure you will be finding parking spaces etc. The new timetable will be posted as soon as we figure it out but there will be more bjj sessions..more mma and more no-gi. Mat space wi...ll be limited until we get more mats down from hillview but we will keep the disruption to a minimum..hopefully we wont have to cancel any classes while the work is completed. I will try my best to accomodate everyone with regard to class times...as you all know,shea already has the mma sessions working well at 7:30 so we will work round him. Moving again was never in my thoughts if Im honest with you all..this one was pushed onto us and we had no choice other than to leave the hillview venue.I apologise to all of you for the hassle and I hope that you will continue to support the team and coaches while we get things organised.
