Lagan Dragons

Lagan Dragons is a dragon boat team based at the River Lagan, Belfast, for women who have ever had a diagnosis of breast cancer and those who support them.

The Lagan Dragons is a dragon boat team based at the River Lagan, Belfast for women diagnosed with breast cancer. Supported by Bryson Lagan Sports, the Lagan Dragons were set up to:

• Encourage those who have been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer to lead full and active lives
• Raise awareness about breast cancer
• Provide support and fellowship to team members
• Offer support to the family and friends of members
• Importantly, have FUN!
The Lagan Dragons train once a week from April to October and women of all ages are welcome to come and have a go at any time in the season. No experience is necessary as all members are new to the sport of dragon boat racing.
The service is also supported by the Breast Cancer Unit, Belfast Trust.
