The Carbon Laser Peel is highly beneficial for people with oily skin, blackheads, enlarged pores, dull skin and acne on the face or body. * Use oil-free makeup remover * Pay special attention to your lash line when removing makeup * Gently clean your lashes with a soft make up brush and oil free cleanser ... * Avoid oily creams and lotions close to the lash line * Brush lashes daily from center to tip with mascara wand to maintain them as they grow * Sleep on your back or on your side with lashes off the pillow * Schedule regular touch-up appointments every 2-3 weeks * Do not wet your lashes for 24 hours after application * Do not tan or spray tan 48 - 72 hours after application
* Do not use mascara on your lashes * Do not wear strip lashes on your lashes * Do not perm your lashes * Do not curl your lashes * Do not pull or tug on your lashes * Do not rub your eyes * Avoid saunas and hot steam (including facials) while wearing extensions * Avoid letting water from your shower head run directly onto your lashes * Do not use eyeliner pencils - felt or pen tip only * Do not use cotton balls or pads with loose fibers that can catch on your lash extensions * NEVER attempt to remove your lash extensions - they must be professionally removed
Keeping eyelash extensions clean It is good practice to keep the eyelash extensions clean to prevent eyelash extension Blepharitis. Blepharitis is when the hair follicle becomes infected and blocked. It becomes blocked with your skins natural oil called subum, dead skin cells and bacteria, which hasn’t been cleaned away. It basically looks like dandruff around your eyelash extensions. If you do find you have blepharitis it’s best to ask your eyelash technician to remove the lashes and visit your GP for some topical ointment to apply to the eyelid to clean up the infection. This isn’t just for eyelash extensions wearers, this could easily happen to people who don’t remove their mascara or generally clean their face daily. Eyelash extensions and mascara You’ll need to be extra careful when you apply and remove the mascara on your eyelash extensions too. Applying too much mascara from the base to the tip makes them heavier, more likely to pull the lashes out, and make it more difficult to remove it afterwards. If you find your mascara pulls on the lashes too much they could be damaged or weakened. When removing, only use oil-free makeup remover for the exact same reasons.
