Great advice for busy parents this summer (and always) from Mrs C's Early Years Education forum NI
We spent the afternoon at the aquarium in Malta & saw a unicorn fish! Now it’s time to chill by the pool after dinner. #ErasmusPlus
Mrs Mullen & I are working hard in Malta this week as the final activity of our Erasmus Plus KA1 project.
For anyone in the Belfast area, here is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some quality time outdoors over the summer with Wandering Wild Forest Schools
Yesterday many professionals gathered to celebrate the EITP’s fabulous programme that has begun to support families from 0-3 through lots of different activities. Our class has been involved with Getting Ready to Learn from the start & I was delighted to hear that through one of the schemes, 1.6 million books have been lent out to preschool children during the programme.
How lucky are we, that our school community created this amazing space for us to enjoy on site. We had our last visit to Bear Woods yesterday before the children all move onto 'big school' and to Big Bear Woods, which is over the fence from our little oasis.
Brand new Supertato adventure is out next week!
This is why we go outside daily for at least an hour - everyone’s mental well being is improved because of it. Cheers Inspirational Outdoors for sharing this article.
This is why we emphasise hands on learning experiences in nursery. Great visual.
Something for local families.

Look what is coming to Belfast 😊
Can’t believe it is Box collage time! This signifies the end of another school year. The children have been adding layers to their boxes since November.
So much fun ordering letters on the gutters this morning. These balls have been spread far & wide around the playground so I was impressed that all 26 were found 😊
This time lapse of a slug enjoying a dandelion is wonderful!
Great little piece on why children should be encouraged to take part in risky play. Thanks Kentstown Montessori School for sharing this one.
Lovely post from our friends over at Takoma Park Cooperative Nursery School - there is nothing more pleasurable than watching children play with everyday objects to recreate a whole play scenario.
