Leg-It Events organise professional and fun events for runners, walkers and their families who enjoy exploring beautiful places in Northern Ireland.
You can check out our upcoming events right here on our Facebook page to make sure you never miss an opportunity to escape familiar places, explore new ones, and really challenge yourself.
Each event will be timed, with it's own bespoke medal and prizes for winners.
We are a non-profit event company, and all we seek is to cover the costs of our events.

We love running, and if you do to, why not be a part of our community?

If you would like to volunteer at one of our events, you can receive free race entry in return for every event you volunteer at. Just send us a message if you’re interested in getting involved.

The Jackal on Cavehill
Leg-it events are dedicated to bring you not just races but special events in special spaces.
These events take a lot of time and planning. Many races cover their costs but many dont. These events are held out of our love of running in special places in Northern Ireland. We do need your help to make these events viable and continue. Please get involved and tell your friends.
... This is the only running and walking event at Cavehill this year.
Yes a hell of a climb but worth every single step when you get to the top.
For those of you that have ran the race you will remember it as tough but ultimately one of the most rewarding races you ever ran.
Weather permitting you will have the most spectacular views of Belfast and surrounding area.
Its a course so beautiful that local World Champion Carl Frampton uses it to train on. Using most of our route.

Darren and his mates are joining us for the Cavehill event this Sunday - as item on his bucket list was to get to the top of the Cavehill. We will have a collection tin at the registration area if you’d like to donate a few quid. Let’s give Darren and his team as much encouragement and support as possible. Fingers crossed the weather is kind and they get to see the amazing views up there!

Went to the Leg-it Hazelbank 5 mile and 1 mile fun run this morning. Honestly it was brilliant. It was well organised and family friendly...they even had treats hidden along the way 4 the kids to find and had lots of goodies for everyone after. Lots of encouragement was given along the route and of course there was the much desired medal at the finish line. This Leg-it event is a great way to introduce kids to the running community and keep it fun and not overly competitive. Well done Leg-it and thanks. Looking forward to signing myself and the kids up to the next event ���
Took part in the Divis fun run this morning with my 3 year old daughter and 4 year old niece and 63 year old mother. It was great very well organised and a brill goody bag and medal. Well done Leg-it Events we will definitely take part again
Loved this run,well organised and friendly runners and especially organisers.would recommend to anyone,would need to mention the views over "northern ireland",deffo a hidden gem of a place.
I took part in both the trail running trial event organised by leg-it with belfast hill partnership and in the hazelbank 5 miles run! both events were great, and very well organised. The race was a particularly great experience for me as I am new to this run racing thing and it was very easy to register, follow the course, many marhsalls and many pictures, and refreshments at the end. Not to mention an awesome medal design! Thanks for making the all experience great :)
