Lessans Livery Yard & Riding Stables

We had our daughter's birthday party here today. Very nice, laid-back atmosphere, the kids had a blast riding the ponies and running with the goats :-)

Philly and I rode together as children and Philly has put her heart and soul into Lessans. It's a fantastic place now. My children all learned to ride here and Philly has schooled young horses for me over the years. All in all I can give Philly and Lessans my full recommendation. Big indoor school and outdoor sand schools. Cross country and show jumping fields in the summer. Great place for livery. Go and take a look.

Phillipa is a wealth of knowledge and I really enjoy my private lessons with her. I'm bringing on a young horse and I intend to do weekly lessons to help us along our way.

My kids and I all learned to ride at Lessans. Instruction and facilities are second to none and the yard has a fantastic family ethos. There is knowledgable support and assistance available 24/7.

I've been in this yard coming up on 20 years and - having tried others - in my opinion Lessans was formerly the best riding school, and is now one of the best livery yards, in Northern Ireland. Philippa is certainly the best riding instructor I've ever had lessons with, and is hugely under-appreciated. She can teach a wide range of ages and abilities with equal skill and patience, and the improvement will always be seen afterwards. The livery and event facilities at Lessans, too, lend themselves well to the needs of a variety of different rider types, from novice through to competition level; and there's always expert advice and support on hand.

I've been a very happy livery at Lessans, Philly is great at ensuring all your horse's needs are meet and there is a real social atmosphere at the yard. Facilities and teaching is helpful for all levels.

I spend more time here than in my house! A great yard with fantastic facilities and excellent instructors.

My personal circumstances have now changed and I moved yards yesterday to Dukes Livery Yard near Portadown - 4 miles from home so hopefully my time at Dukes will be every bit as enjoyable. Excellent stables five stars always feel welcome I learned to ride here and will never forget all my happy memories here! Had a fantastic time at adult camp last year and could not of received a warmer welcome! Will look forward to returning again sometime in the near future!
