Tomorrow is the big day.... The winner for best world food restaurant will be announced at the Northern Ireland food awards. Keep your fingers crossed for L'Etoile du Nord!

Great food, fantastic atmosphere, pleasant service, excellent value. My favourite restaurant in Belfast (and much further afield)

Excellent ambience, food & service. A lovely discreet little cafe. BYO with 2 off licences a few doors away.

Everything was perfect. I can't imagine any other restaurant measuring up ever again. 😍😍😍

Can’t believe I waited so long to visit and can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful food and the staff where lovely!

A very eclectic setting, with beautiful food and great service.

A hidden gem! We come here often and never leave disappointed!

A genuine delight! Miss being around the corner from it. You would absolutely believe you were in the streets of Paris as you sit in here.

Top atmosphere. Top service. Top food. Top night. We brought top wine. Our company of six was top. Altogether it was, well, top.

The atmosphere is great- totally authentic little local place. Unfortunately the menu hasn’t changed in 100 years. They continue to serve average food that is relatively tasty. The garlic potatoes are lovely, but the veg is like some sort of frozen packet stuff you can overcook yourself at home just as easily. A few limp lettuce leaves does not a salad make... but the mustard sauce was nice.
