Live music and weekly club nights!

The Limelight is established as the most famous venue for live music in the country! We've hosted legendary shows from the likes of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Jeff Buckley and Manic Street Preachers with the likes of Slayer, Primal Scream, Two Door Cinema Club, Steve Aoki, The Darkness and Disclosure all playing in the last couple of years.

The venue is split into four spaces - Limelight 1 (rebuilt in 2012 with state of the art lighting and sound), the original venue now called Limelight 2, Katy's Bar and The Rock Garden - our outdoor terrace - which now has it's own bar.


As well as our regular gigs, we also offer the following club nights. Please check our events for updated info. All club nights are £5 with drink promos at £1. 50 on Tuesday, £2 on Thursday and £2. 50 on Saturdays. Each is £5 entry - with cheaplist available on certain nights via the event page.

Monday
SCRATCH MONDAYS across the entire venue - DJs in Limelight 1 and Limelight 2 with live music in the bar.

Tuesday
CIRCUS - four rooms of great music, circus performances, freak shows and carnival games! The original club night - Tuesdays = The Limelight!

Thursday
SKETCHY - four rooms with great music and the biggest, most elaborate stage sets and production in the city! Expect pyro, giant confetti cannons, balloon drops and character hosts. Currently running with a Sci-Fi theme. . . !

Friday
SH*T DISCO @ Limelight 2 - Chris, Toni & Paul play rock to funk, disco to punk! Older, post-work crowd get down and dirty. £2 beers and spirits.

Saturday
AAA Saturdays - pay in once, access to all four rooms! The biggest club night in Belfast.

The bar is open every day from 12pm (6pm on Sundays) with an open Mic on Wednesday evenings.
