Responsible to - Restaurant Manager Blaze Grill
Responsible for: • Promoting all facilities to customers, participating in new ideas for new promotions and being responsible for the daily shift operations of the restaurant in the absence of the manager • Monitoring standards of service, utilising staffing levels, giving assistance accordingly and to liaise with other members of the management team... • Dealing with customer concerns correctly and as efficiently as possible, following them up and maintain when possible, contact with the customer when/if needed • Observing and complying with health and safety regulations at all times • Supporting any department whenever needed • Attending meetings and working closely with all staff members as a team • Maintaining a proactive attitude towards all staff in various departments and representing the company in order to project the best image and high level of standards • Assisting the Restaurant Manager with daily tasks
Main Duties: Shift operations, shift staff management, daily cash flow, operated within all Health and Safety policies set, upkeep and maintain all hygiene and cleaning standards, customer service. Cash handling, cash up and follow up procedures, staff breaks rosters. Supporting any department when needed. Other tasks may be required by management.
Skills/Experience/qualifications • Experience as a supervisor in the food and beverage industry would be of advantage. This role may be particularly desirable to a senior waiting team member looking to step up a level of responsibility • Excellent communication and work ethic • Self-motivator who can develop, maintain and supervise a team • Able to relate to and respond effectively to customer & staff needs. A passion for providing excellent customer service
Additional Information: This role involves evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. Excellent rate of pay based on experience. This Role is 30 hour per week contract. Rates based on experience

Wish there were more stars! It was my hen party this weekend and this is were we started off, Stuart behind the counter was fab from start to finish! Any thing we wanted we got, then the manager (blonde hair) came and spoke to us and she gave me a bottle of prosecco when leaving! I know originally they were trying to book the function room for food and were told it wasn't possible due to work going on, the weather was rubbish on Friday and in the end Stuart managed to be able to give us the room, one of the men doing the work came along with a very expensive speaker and let us use it! Food was lovely to, the whole atmosphere really got us all going, Honestly the customer service was amazing! It's nice to know they generally cared and wanted us to have a good time! Completely went above and beyond for the hen party! Oh and selling alcohol helped lol thank u so much!

Was at Lisburn bowl today for my son’s 11th birthday party, it was an absolutely fabulous party, all the kids had a ball. Our party host was absolutely fantastic, and made sure the party ran smoothly. The bowling, the disco and the food were all superb. All the children really enjoyed the party and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Visited here tonight with Down & Conner County Ventures. Really big turn out. Taking up 14 lanes for an hour. From booking event to sorting lanes, food and full on service. Staff couldn't do enough for us.

We like to thank Lisburn bowl for cooperation in running the event. 70 people at one time was a breeze for them.

Highly recommend and will be back in near future.

Value for money and everyone had fun!!

Tonight we held a fundraiser in memory of my late husband Tommy Elliott for St John Ambulance Lisburn and I can not speak more highly of Aoife Loughran and her team! They went beyond the call of duty to ensure our event was a huge success and I am so grateful to them! The staff were courteous and always keen to help and make sure that we had everything that we needed. A superb venue for a successful fundraiser! keep the fantastic work up you are a credit to Lisburn Bowl and the city!

The manager Peter was really pleasant and friendly and the food was nice too. Really nice atmosphere and good music. The staff were friendly and bubbly and bent over backwards for us (as I’m quite fussy) nothing was an inconvenience for them. Food was lovely and good sized portions (im a lover of the tobacco onions and they are one of the best I’ve had) only thing I would say the food could have been a little bit quicker but that’s to be expected as they are still getting into the swing of things. The restaurant was really clean and the decor was amazing, it definitely looks the part and you would think you were in a higher end restaurant rather than in a bowling alley. Will definitely be returning to Blaze and will be recommending it to all my friends and family. 5/5

I was your lucky competition winner of a family pass to the Balmoral and a voucher for bowling.

We had an amazing family day out at Balmoral and looking forward to come to use our voucher for bowling very soon.

Highly recommend the new restaurant Blaze at Lisburn Bowl!! It is a restaurant, and feels like a proper restaurant with good food not just fast food at a bowling alley. Food was delicious and well priced, the atmosphere was brilliant (almost forgot we were eating at a bowling alley) and customer service was brilliant!! Only criticism.. potentially too good of a restaurant for a bowling alley!

Had my sons 18th birthday party st Lisburn Bowl.

The staff were friendly and were very helpful.

The buffet was good and was well received during the bowling. Best party ever been too. Well worth the money.

Would definitely recommend it. You will not be disappointed

Kids had such fun from the smallest to the teens. Boys happy out with the Xbox room! Lisburn bowl really has it all!!! Deffo a great day out for the kids!

Cozy restaurant with a lovely decoration, all the food was great, specially their home made pizzas. You can see how they are being cooked in their traditional fired oven... Although is part of the bowling alley it's not noisy at all and the atmosphere is enjoyable and pleasant. Beautiful flavours and staff very friendly and attentive, we will definitely come back soon to Blaze :)

Can not recommend this place enough! Took my daughter and a few of her friends here today for her 8th birthday day out and it was brilliant start to finish! The staff really were outstanding with us today especially the lovely girl Abby (thank you again you made Abbie’s day singing happy birthday�) honestly we had a really great day Thank you all! Ps there is nothing better than going somewhere with such down to earth staff personally I think this is what really makes a place! �

Brilliant, had such a ball. Went for ladies night last night, they were getting the restaurant renovated but they managed to set a table up for us so we could have our meal. Looking forward to coming back already. Everything you need, from drinks-pick n mix ☺️ And everything in between X

Went here last night for a meal good size portions and food was lovely staff really friendly service was a bit slow but for the first night that’s to be expected until the find their feet decor was lovely and modern

Took my daughter with her friends today as a birthday treat. I made my booking via telephone during the week, staff member that took my booking was more than accommodating & friendly.

When we arrived today again the staff on entering were polite & welcoming.

We got kids settled into our lane & I went to get everyone some drinks & sweets.

Our lane was beside a bar so I asked if I could order drinks the “mannerless cheeky scruffy bar lad” ate the face off me,snapping at me in a rude obnoxious manner u need to order food if u want alcohol drinks (was looking 2 pints & 5 soft drinks)

I spoke the manager as I was totally embarrassed & disgusted at how I was spoke to within 15mins of entertaining the building. The manager was more than helpful & resolved the issue right away.

Overall experience kids loved it but me personally on first time experience in the place I definitely didn’t like how I was spoke to but that one mannerless lad!!!

Ps even the girls at front desk knew who I was talking about! Says alot

Very dissapointed. We went to celebrate my daughters bday with group of 20 kids.been promised that they r going to split them in to 2 groups.never happened. The event was unoraginsed. The first part -bowling was enjoyable up to untill they all went to tiny Xbox room where there wasn't enough room for all of them.it took them 10 minutes to set up the Xboxes .the minute the supervisor left the room certain Xboxes had lost Wi-Fi connection and I had unhappy complaining kids. So i went to look for our supervisors who weren't with us half the time.both of them appeared with the kids food which the kids ate in the same small Xbox room. I went to speak with the manager but nothing changed, So lesson learned -never ever again we will celebrate kids birthday parties there. It's ok if you have small group of kids but no more than 10.2 stars given for manager and staff politeness

Would need to tell people when they are fully booked tried all morning to phone. Wouldn't answer the call and when we arrived up at opening time they were fully booked to 7pm tonight. Loads of people like myslef had to leave and go elsewhere. Disgrace should have advetised on their website or Facebook page. Won't be back in a hurry

I was here last week with a friend and my little brother and sister, half way through our game of bowling the balls kept getting stuck in the machine and therefore we had to switch lanes. Fair enough we were offered our game put back to the start to start over again. Then being moved again to a 2nd lane it stopped working and it started saying the players had taken their turn so basically the kids missing their goes! This left my wee brother and sister aged 5 and 6 very distressed and confused as to why they didn’t get a go in that round. Then having to be moved onto a 3rd lane to finish our game that lane was broken as well where we had to sit and wait for it being fixed and kids getting even more unsettled and confused. This caused the children a lot of distress as they are only young and didn’t understand, worst experience ever! This was the kids first experience of bowling to which they now don’t understand the concept of the game. Very annoyed at this horrible experience!�

Haven’t a bad word to say about Lisburn bowling but on the other hand...when I went to Blaze Grill that’s been opened for about a week. Me and my friends sat down in what seemed a very clean warm cozy, modern restaurant. The staff seemed very inviting and approachable, we started off our order by ordering 3 coke zeros, mine tasted funny and then we noticed that my coke was out of date from the 21/10/17 and the other two from may 2018. We then informed staff which were shocked by this as much as us and understood our concerns and went to change them out for new ones but to no surprise every single Coke Zero they had in stock was out of date so they couldn’t even swap them, which lead us to wonder if they are taking short cuts with their coke what type of ingredients/dates are they putting in the food we served, so we left....

Very dissapointed. We went to celebrate my daughters bday with group of 20 kids.been promised that they r going to split them in to 2 groups.never happened. The event was unoraginsed. The first part -bowling was enjoyable up to untill they all went to tiny Xbox room where there wasn't enough room for all of them.it took them 10 minutes to set up the Xboxes .the minute the supervisor left the room certain Xboxes had lost Wi-Fi connection and I had unhappy complaining kids. So i went to look for our supervisors who weren't with us half the time.both of them appeared with the kids food which the kids ate in the same small Xbox room. I went to speak with the manager but nothing changed, So lesson learned -never ever again we will celebrate kids birthday parties there. It's ok if you have small group of kids but no more than 10.2 stars given for manager and staff politeness

Would need to tell people when they are fully booked tried all morning to phone. Wouldn't answer the call and when we arrived up at opening time they were fully booked to 7pm tonight. Loads of people like myslef had to leave and go elsewhere. Disgrace should have advetised on their website or Facebook page. Won't be back in a hurry

I was here last week with a friend and my little brother and sister, half way through our game of bowling the balls kept getting stuck in the machine and therefore we had to switch lanes. Fair enough we were offered our game put back to the start to start over again. Then being moved again to a 2nd lane it stopped working and it started saying the players had taken their turn so basically the kids missing their goes! This left my wee brother and sister aged 5 and 6 very distressed and confused as to why they didn’t get a go in that round. Then having to be moved onto a 3rd lane to finish our game that lane was broken as well where we had to sit and wait for it being fixed and kids getting even more unsettled and confused. This caused the children a lot of distress as they are only young and didn’t understand, worst experience ever! This was the kids first experience of bowling to which they now don’t understand the concept of the game. Very annoyed at this horrible experience!�

Haven’t a bad word to say about Lisburn bowling but on the other hand...when I went to Blaze Grill that’s been opened for about a week. Me and my friends sat down in what seemed a very clean warm cozy, modern restaurant. The staff seemed very inviting and approachable, we started off our order by ordering 3 coke zeros, mine tasted funny and then we noticed that my coke was out of date from the 21/10/17 and the other two from may 2018. We then informed staff which were shocked by this as much as us and understood our concerns and went to change them out for new ones but to no surprise every single Coke Zero they had in stock was out of date so they couldn’t even swap them, which lead us to wonder if they are taking short cuts with their coke what type of ingredients/dates are they putting in the food we served, so we left....
