National Show 2019 @ castlewellan show. What a day Lisnaree Herefords had taking a large entry of 5 it was a big day out for the lot of us. Not only had we a large number of entries but also 5 pairs of hands making work light big thanks to the team. We had much success bringing home a 3rd and 5th in the cow and calf class then a 3rd in the junior heifer class. And 1st and 3rd in the 2019 calf class but that's not all. Our little pocket rocket Lisnaree 1 Sundae went on to secure reserve champion hereford calf which we are most pleased about this wee gem is a classy heifer can't wait to see her grow.

What a day yet again for Lisnaree herefords our Big Vanity doing the business with Spice girl at foot she stood top of the line in her class and went on to get Reserve Breed champion. Better photos to follow but here she is in all her glory.

Lisnaree are back with bang in the show circuit, Lurgan show always one of the favourite settings for a show and it did not disappoint. In our first class with our cow Vanity and calf Spice girl rose to the challenge and claimed first place in a hotly contested cow class with the judge Mr Tom rea commenting on how well vanity it doing her calf. Then we went on to the biggest class of the one of the most competitive classes of heifers ever at lurgan show. Which Ruby the main girl going to claiming first place which she then went on win Reserve Breed champion just behind james Grahams bull and big congrats to him on breed champion. We then went on to young handlers in which we stormed to victory taking champion young handler. What a day!!!!!!!!!!!

LISNAREE 1 SUNDAE 🍨🍨 this lovely heifer calf is out of the one and only LISNAREE 1 NORA the pride and joy of our herd has given us another cracking heifer calf. SUNDAE is a solpoll Kentucky kid calf and from great dam lines as her maternal grandsire is Gouldingpoll Superduty. Heres hoping she makes it onto the show team sometime in summer!!!

She's a classy female out of a great dam who has won multiple championships beaten NI bull of the year 2018 at castlewellan show 2018 and now gave us this superb heifer calf out of Dendor 1 Kohinoor. She is of course LISNAREE 1 SPICE GIRL. Guarneteed to spice up the herd she is a real cow maker already !!!! hopefully she goes on and follows her mother's footsteps this summer on the show circuit.
