Little Acorns, Derrymore

Just to remind you that the Playgroup will be open on Friday 31st August for the children who attended playgroup last year. The Breakfast Club will also operate on 31st August but there will be no after school club as the school closes at 12noon. However, we will be back to normal on Monday 3rd September. Look forward to seeing you all.

Good Luck to all our Little Acorns who are starting P1 on Friday. We will miss you all.

We said a fond farewell to one of our long term members of staff today. Amanda has been a been a valued member of the Little Acorns team. She has been the epitome of professionalism and we would like to thank her for bringing her best to work every single day. She will be greatly missed by the kids and the Little Acorns family, but we wish her all the best on her new adventures.

Staff would like to thank parents for their generosity. We were completely overwhelmed by your kindness. We hope you will have a great summer and look forward to seeing you all in September.

Just a reminder to anyone who has sponsor money from our recent walk can you please bring it to the playgroup by Friday 22nd June. Thank you.

Lough Neagh Rescue Service will be coming to the after school club on Thursday 21st June at 3.30. They will be telling us how to keep safe when out swimming etc. Anyone who is interested in joining us please contact me on 02892650534. Places are limited to 24. Anyone who already attends on a Thursday will automatically be included.
Don’t forget fun day is going ahead this afternoon.

Due to weather conditions forecast for today and tomorrow we are postponing our fun day until Monday 18th June. Thank you for your co operation.

Our After School fun day with rascals castles is on Friday 15th June. Anyone who has not returned their form can they please do so tomorrow so we can ensure we have the correct child/adult ratio on the day.
