The Love for Hairbows and Headbands and Everything Nice
As soon as I knew we were going to have a baby girl on the 4th of February 2013 I started shopping for baby dresses, shoes, headbands and hairbows and every little nice thing I can think of. I planned the design and decorations I wanted to put in her nursery.
But I could not find the baby headbands and hairbows that I wanted and remembered that my mother used to make pretty bows for me and my sisters when we were little girls. It gave me the inspiration to do the same for Julia. Then we started getting busy preparing the house for her arrival and I totally forgot the hairbow project.
One day we went shopping when Julia was about 22 days old. I saw baby headbands at one of the major baby stores. They were pretty pink and ivory coloured chiffon rosettes at £4. 50. They were a bit big for a newborn but there was very little to choose from. So I bought them and adjusted the elastic to make it her size. My plan to make hairbows for my little princess was instantly restored.
I spent a very long time searching for the finest hairbow materials and when I found them, I made hairbows and headbands for Julia everyday.
A few months after making little hairbows, I decided to share the love I have for baby headbands by making pretty, high quality baby bows that are affordable. I want to see more babies wear lovely hairbows not just on special occasions but as often as thier Mums want them to without spending so much.
Julia is not my only inspiration for making pretty little baby bows and headbands but your little princess as well. Our shop's aim is to let more and more pretty girls were lovely hairbows that are carefully handcrafted and made to fit them perfectly using only the finest materials!
We believe that a little thing can mean a lot. A small baby hairbow can be a part of a childhood memory like her first day out or her first birthday party. We are here to make these memories more beautiful!
