Had a great experience this week when 2 girls I studied with (a very long time ago) had booked into Little Oaks. That together with the brilliant bunch already booked, proved to be a brilliant day - loads of fun and laughter. Here’s a pic of us having a little break, some pre-dinner nibbles and of course a Christmas cocktail lol xxx

After such a busy week it was wonderful to spend an afternoon walking on the north coast - no place like it!!! From Castlerock beach, Black Glen, Lions Gate, Bishops Gate (for the perfect coffee from Al’s) the coastal path around Mussenden Temple, back to Castlerock- beautiful!

‘A Taste of India’ at Little Oaks yesterday was busy - roasting and grinding spices, making curry pastes, kulfi(Indian icecream), Indian butter biscuits and samosas, but mostly we had lots of fun.

Busy weekend for Little Oaks - Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Love Your Home event, Belfast, demonstrating in the Phoenix Village on a brilliant Rangemaster cooker. Big big thank you to Nicky Stone from Ian A Kernohan Ltd who definitely stepped up to the plate demonstrating some great cooking skills and Matthew Barry whose help once again was brilliant. I’m so sorry there are no pics of the food as it was eaten so quickly there was just no time for photos xxx

Just home from our travels and I could not wait to create a NI spin on some of the delicious pastries from the islands. Pastel de Nata and little apple and chocolate fingers. First attempt was ok, now to nail down the recipe which I hope to be making this Saturday. We now have 3 spaces available Saturday 29 September at 10:00. If you are interested ring 07974349850 xx
