As part of Volunteer week (3rd -7th June) Foyle Down syndrome trust are working in conjunction with Marks and Spencer's, Crescent Link to deliver this wonderful event.
The 20+ year old group will be working with staff from Marks and Spencer's to create and produce a range of temptingly tasty treats for you to eat.

WHERE: Foyle Down Syndrome Trust (1st Floor Shared Future Centre, BT74 2DB) WHEN: Monday 3rd June @ 1.30pm. Cost: FREE, just some extra calories but no one will mind.

Exciting opportunity for anyone aged 16 to 30!
EuroPeers are young people who have travelled to other countries to study, get work experience, or take part in education or youth projects. They inform, motivate and support other young people to get involved in these life changing activities. They promote Erasmus Plus in the UK.
... This is a free opportunity for 18-30 year olds and 16-18 year olds with parental consent to take part in the training to become a EuroPeer. Develop Leadership Skills, public speaking, event organisation skills and have fun. Once trained there will be immediate opportunities to organise activities and take on volunteer leadership roles which will be great for the CV.
Friday 21st June 2019 at 12pm – Monday 24th June 2019 at 2pm Academy St Albans, AL2 1AF
This is a residential course with meals included. £30 deposit is required and travel will be reimbursed. Registration should take place by Monday 10th June 2019.

This weekend there is a walk from Belfast to Derry in memory of Lyra Mc Kee. It will be passing the YMCA on Monday afternoon and the building will be used as a toilet stop. We are asking anyone interested to assemble at the YM at 2 and join in with the walk to Ebrington square. The group coming from Belfast could be passing any time around 2-3. Young people and their families are welcome to join in, but if young people are doing it without their parents they will need a consent form signed and returned. There has been reports that Gary lightbody is joining in from dungiven to the city so you might see him if you come along!
Some of our Senior members were in tonight co-designing their summer scheme ! They have come up with some really great ideas and are all set for a residential at the weekend to finalise their plans!
Fantastic event which some of our staff and young people went along to tonight! It's great to see young people getting a say in their youth service!

Tuesday night Club
Trip for P1 to P4 tonight to Bananas. Cost is £3, no extra needed. Consent forms can be got tonight if you haven't already got one.
Be at club for normal 6 start and we will be back for 7:45/8.

On Tuesday (14th) there’s a trip to Bananas for Tuesdays first session p1-p4 for already registered members and regular attendees of the club.
Regular club start time and back for 7.45/8. Letters/forms were given out last Tuesday and need to be completed along with £3 to attend.
... There will be a trip for the p5-p7 group at another time but their club is still on as normal on Tuesday from 7:30.
