Handpainted detail on this cake and enhanced with fresh flowers (Flowers by Moira) at the ever stunning Castle Leslie Estate last weekend.

The Lough Erne Golf Resort wedding open day is this Sunday 7th October, we will have a stand with some samples & display cakes but due to priot commitments we cannot be there in person, but do come along if you are planning your big day!

September weddings are my absolute favourite, as its my ultimate favourite season! Crisp air, and mostly dry (well I think so anyway!) :D This one was a wonderful wedding to be a part of, and below is the brides email to us the day after their big day:

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for our wedding cake. It was the most amazing wedding cake I've ever seen, truly spectacular to look at and so delicious. All eaten within 24hours. Its wonderful to think that we have created a product that many, many of you love, and purchase and enjoy! Thanks for stopping by and buying our bakes at the Festival! We had a sell out apart from a few macarons (we scoffed these down ourselves!)

Day 2 of the Festival Lough Erne kicks off at 12pm today - your ticket of £2 for the entry gets you entry to the castle museums, live music, chef demos, also a free ride on the red boats(beside erneside) which we only heard of yesterday! Great value so make the most of it!
We also baked some extra flavours, Red Velvet, Chocolate & Raspberry White choc cupcakes, and fresh eclairs made this morning too! :) Come and purchase some treats for your sunday afternoon :)

Ah, what a day! Fab turnout, lovely atmosphere with live music & chef demonstrations all day! See you all again tomorrow 12-6pm, we had a sell out of nearly all cupcakes so we are having a late one to bake a few more for you all! Third time purchasing from Lough Erne Cakes, the first two were cupcake orders and this time it was a two-layered birthday cake for Mum. When I arrived to pick it up, I could not have been more please- it looked sensational. The lower level was raspberry, almond and orange and the top layer was red velvet and both were gorgeous- everyone was really impressed. Beyond that, Marta was a pleasure to deal with and the customer service is great.

They did such an amazing job for my daughters christening cake..every one absolutely loved it.. they can't stop talking about it.. it tasted as good as it looks which is unbelievable.. everyone was so impressed.. they won't ever forget her christening cake.. thank u so much Lough erne cakes yous are amazing at what yous do.. highly recommend you guys.. �

Lough Erne cakes created such a wonderful cake for our baby’s Christening last week! It both looked and tasted amazing and was greatly admired by everyone. I went for the lemon curd flavour which was absolutely delicious, and the cake itself was stunning. Nothing was too much trouble; excellent customer service. A total success and worth every penny. Im a little late in writing this but the ladies made our cake and dessert table for our wedding and it was nothing short of amazing! Every single detail we asked for was what we got. Nothing was too much and the whole process was fab from start to finish even though at times im sure they could have killed me for changing my mind so much�Thankyou so much for being patient and making such a fabulous creation for us.we really appreciated it. We will definatley be booking for any future cakes needed. Thankyou again.x
