Hi, I’m Helena, owner at Lucia’s Cakes. I started this business primarily as a hobby but it has grown to be so much more than that. I named the business after my daughter who was born shortly before I started baking.

I invite you to take a look around this page and get an idea of the work I do. I do all sorts of cakes, from a simple collection of customised cupcakes to a finely detailed five-tier wedding cake. In the short time that Lucia’s Cakes has been in operation, I have designed and supplied hundreds of delicious cakes to hundreds of satisfied customers.

The business is centrally situated in Dunloy, Co. Antrim , between Ballymoney and Ballymena, but I am lucky enough to have had customers from as far afield as Belfast, Derry and even Dublin.

Examples of my work include character cakes, customised with your child’s name featuring Peppa Pig, Mickey Mouse, Frozen to name but a few. Birthday cakes for your friends, with their favourite hobby depicted on the top have proved a popular choice. I also do Christening and Communion Cakes. Cupcakes can be customised for your event and make a great start to a hen party or family get together. I also do Wedding Cakes and whether you want a five tier traditional wedding cake or something a bit ‘off the wall’, I will work with you to make it perfect for your big day.

I literally have hundreds of unique one-off designs in the gallery and I ask that you use that as your inspiration if you’re stuck, or if you have the perfect design in mind, call me up and we can talk through it and make it become reality. All my cakes and cupcakes are made fresh, with the finest ingredients and taste delicious.
