About Lurgan Salvation Army
Lurgan Corps is a local branch of the international Salvation Army - a Christian Church serving the local community since 1880.
Lurgan Salvation Army Description
The Salvation Army is an international Christian church worshiping and working in 126 countries and has more than 800 local churches in the UK and Ireland.
Our meetings(services) are attended by a cross-section of society, both in age and socio-economic groups. The style of worship has a certain degree of structure, but largely encourages freedom of expression, and regular participation by the congregation individually - by praying, giving personal testimony, reading from the Bible or presenting a musical contribution - and corporately by singing hymns or the united reading from the Bible.
Our meetings have contributions from our senior band, songster brigade (choir), junior band, and singing company (junior choir).
We also provide a crèche during the meeting, allowing parents the opportunity to relax and concentrate on worshiping.
We have activities all week – something to suit everyone.
Major Adam and Captain Christine Morales are the current leaders of the Lurgan Corps.
Our meetings every Sunday are at 11: 15am and 6: 30pm.
There is a car park and street parking available.
Be sure to check here for news of all other activities
