Hello, my name is Lynda and I've worked at MACS for nearly six years. I'm currently Team Leader in Lisburn Housing but began my journey as a Sessional Worker in Belfast. I then progressed to a Support Worker and a Floating Support Worker across various services within the organisation. I've enjoyed aspects of all of my roles but as a Support/Floating worker, I particularly loved spending quality time with young people and watching them grow throughout their journey with us. I...'m now passionate about my role as Team Leader and I still get to spend time with the young people who live with us. However, now my focus is on bringing out the best in the staff team so that our young people get the highest quality support and staff can develop and progress professionally.

Hi, I’m Maedbh and I have been working at MACS for 7 months now as Belfast’s integrated worker. I have the best of both worlds where I work between the housing and floating services. I particularly love how I can support young people in their journey from living in the housing service to progressing into the community where they can live independently. The teams at MACS are a fantastic support system to young people and it's great to be a part of each service.
