It is with a very heavy heart, but due to health reasons, I am having to close the shop for good, I can not thank you all enough for supporting me through the last 18 months. We have had lots of fun, I have made so many close friends. Please contact me if you want details of any of the crafters that were in the shop as they were all amazing and still here to promote them all. I would not have had a great wee shop without my awesome crafters. Love you all xxx

There's definitely a wee autumnal nip in the air at the moment... The perfect time to get the needles and hooks out and start on your woollen creations for winter! We've our yarn stocked up sitting in its new place in the shop ready for you to come and choose your colours ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Morning everyone - don't forget the shop will be closed between 11am-3pm today as we join The Big Telly Theatre Company on the main Street for a free hedgehog workshop!

We'll be closed between 11am-3pm tomorrow as we are on the road doing a FREE hedgehog workshop at the big telly theatre company in Ballyclare - why not drop in to say hello?

Well it has arrived your pencil holder workshop! We have had two cancellations for this mornings workshop at 11-12.30 and still have three spaces left for this afternoons session 1.30-3 if you are looking for something to keep the kids busy, Just send a wee comment x

Stampin' Up! bring their workshop to Mad Hatter's for the first time this August!
You will make a fancy card, box/bag and tag and will get beautiful watercolour pencils to take home.
The price of the workshop is £23 per person, including light refreshments. A £10 non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your place. Please PM or call in to the shop, but be quick, you only have until Friday 10th August to book your place!

Would recommend a craft class to anyone. Went this evening with a few friends, some who were crafty and some who weren't. We left with lovely book fold items and everyone of us had a great time. Yvonne is a perfect host and couldn't have done any more. We had a great laugh and a great night. Cant wait to my little girls party in october.

What a amazing wee shop with a large range of products and helpful n friendly staff!! Son + skulls n minecraft = happy child!! Lol Great job ladies xo

Thanks so much for a fantastic party for my daughter's 10th birthday. It was such a wonderful afternoon for the grown-ups as well as the children! Every last detail was taken care of, we were thoroughly spoilt and the girls were delighted with the beautiful crafts that they made. How lovely it is to have a local party venue offering something for this tricky age group, well done!

My daughter had her 9th Birthday Party with Yvonne today. Yvonne organises everything making it stress free the crafts are well tailored to suit the children’s age. The party packages are so varied, there are plenty of ideas and themes to choose from. We went for the full party package which included 2 crafts, hot food, drinks, a sweet cart, ice-cream and Sweet cones to take home along with the handmade crafts. Could not fault anything and would thoroughly recommend Yvonne’s Mad Hatter to everyone. Yvonne you have a lovely way with children!

My daughter had her 8th birthday party at Mad Hatters yesterday and it was excellent! The crafts, the food and the atmosphere were all brilliant! Yvonne (& her daughter!) took care of everything - everyone had a ball! Would definitely recommend!!!

Just had my daughter's 7th birthday party here. To say she loved it, is an understatement. We couldnt be more happy . Wonderful crafts for Every one to do. Great food, ice cream and the sweetie cart. Wow Yvonne took care of everything. And always treats Aimee like a princess.. Thank you Yvonne and Gabby for a great party xx

I took the kids to the Mother's Day workshop on Saturday. The kid's really enjoyed it. Yvonne and Claire worked hard on pleasing the children, nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money. The flowers they made were so much of a hit that they were put on the girl's bikes for school to see "bling your bike week". We have been spreading the word. Thanks again girls.
