We held our son’s christening party in Maginn’s on Sunday past, and I must say we where extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the service and so were our guests. Well done! �

We called yesterday (Easter Sunday) with 3 adults and 2 kids. We were totally blown away with the quality of both service and food. The venue itself was fantastic, very clean, bright and a great atmosphere with noise of people talking, sport on the tvs and music in the background.



The staff members that looked after us were brilliant and deserve alot of credit. We will certainly return and recommend the venue to our friends.

Was in today at lunchtime..first ever visit for me and i only wished i lived closer as everything about it was first class..friendly atmosphere, first class service and food was beautiful..a long way from Armagh but you ever in the area make sure and call in!!!

Took my residents today for lunch, staff couldn't help us enough. Was so polite and helpful. Was very helpful with nutrition needs. Definitely recommended 👍

Thanks for the beautiful meal tonight. Salmon was gorgeous, crispy skin just the way I like it. Very tasty food and well presented food. Staff very friendly too. Pannecotta was first class! Will definitely be back. �

Me and the 3 children called in last night for our tea around 6.30, the food was great, also the three girls that served us were absolutely fantastic!! They were so polite, helpful and friendly. Best service anywhere in a very long time! Means a lot, Was very pleased indeed. We will be back and will recommend �

Left my purse on table after my lovely tea. Staff kept it behind bar for me until I realised. All money still in. Honest lovely staff! I'll be back

Just home from a brilliant day for my brothers 30th birthday service was just perfect couldn’t do enough for us all. Now on to the food OMG! Unreal nicest food and deserts Iv had! Definitely recommended and can’t wait to go back !

Just home after stopping in at Maginns.

Staff could not have done anything more for myself, wife and 2 young boys.

They went out of their way to talk to my boys and listen to them for their dinner orders and supply them with pages to colour in and crayons to use.

Management take note the staff you have hold on to them, they are a credit to your business.

And for me and my family they make it such that we want to return to maginns time and time again.

I have been a few times now; the food and the service is consistently excellent!

Home visiting from Holland, Fantastic experience, great food , service & atmosphere. To top it off a roaring fire to warm us up , Highly recommended.

Have visited Maginns Castlewellan on many different occasions, food, staff and management were all first class, nothing is too much trouble for them, great place to go if you suffer from allergies they will go out of their way to accommodate your needs 5�����

Great food and service, my seafood chowder was excellent, and Helen thoroughly enjoyed her chicken stack. Would recommend anyone to call in.

Maginns is my local when at the caravan having spent part of my childhood in castlewellan with my mum being a Molloy love it great pub and chilled environment great food also

Called in for lunch. Was looking forward to it as the food is lovely. Food still good. But was slightly put off by the state of the seats. They were absolutely filthy. Stains and food crumbs stuck down the sides. Disgusting really for a food establishment.
