Magnet Centre

The Magnet Young Adult Centre is located in the centre of Newry and provides a range of groups, a drop in service, support and is also a live music venue.

The Magnet Centre is a Young Adult Centre located on Hill Street in the centre of Newry.

The Magnet Y. A. C is open for all young people between 15-25 to join.

The centre is open from 1pm-10pm from Monday - Friday and 12pm-10pm on Saturday's.

A key feature of the Magnet is on the majority of Friday /Saturday nights we provide a variety of gigs and events for all young people to enjoy.

The Magnet provides a great drop in service as well as several groups and activities that help young people to mature into adulthood as well as providing young people with some great opportunities.

YES (Youth Engagement Service) is another key aspect of the Magnet. YEs (previosly known as the One Stop Shop) works holistically with children and young people aged 11-25 years olde to promote health and well-being, build confidence, self-esteem and signpost and support young people in need of specific help to an appropriate service. The groups in the Magnet take place from Monday to Saturday.

The Magnet is open to all young people aged 15-25 and the groups are open for all young people to join.
