In line with Government guidance, garages such as ours, are identified as providing essential services required to keep the road transport network moving. Many of our customers, including emergency workers, teachers and those providing vital community services rely on us to ensure their vehicles are road worthy and safe.
We are carefully monitoring the situation and our main priority is the health and well-being of our staff and customers. With this in mind we will be making ...the following changes effective from 5:30pm on Wednesday 25th March 2020:
Our Carrickfergus branch will close.
Our Mallusk branch will stay open however it will be with a smaller team.
Our hours in Mallusk will now be from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays.
Some services will be limited (online reservations, certain mechanical work etc).
We are also continuing to take all the precautions we can to help prevent the spread of the virus whilst in store, things we have put in place include:
Contracted cleaners are in every morning and cleaning regimes are also in place throughout the day.
We have arranged our waiting room to help increase the personal space and exercise social distancing as much as possible (as seen in the pictures attached).
We have removed or disconnected touch points such as magazines, water and coffee machines, and are encouraging card payments where possible.
Allow you to remain in your vehicle until we’re ready to commence work on it. At which point you can either leave the vehicle with us and return when the work is completed or wait either in reception or outside the centre.
We would like to thank our staff and customers for their understanding through this tough time and hope that everyone stays safe.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus situation, we wanted to take the time to reassure our valued customers of the actions we are taking to look out for the health & well being of both you and our hard working team. We not only have contracted cleaners in everyday, but the staff also have been taking measures to clean reception, waiting and staff areas more frequently using antibacterial wipes and sprays throughout the day. Our staff have been provided with nitrite gloves and have be...en instructed not to enter any vehicles without wearing them.
Frequent hand washing procedures have been put into place for our staff, along with other guidelines, to help keep a clean and germ free environment and we will ask our customers to pay by contactless payment where possible.
Moving forward, we are now going to reduce our opening hours for Thursday nights from 7:30pm until 5:30pm, effective immediately.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff and customers for their ongoing support.

The PSNI have agreed to attend to part of the evening, along with a car insurance company between them and us attendees will be taken through a number of areas including:
- Knowing how to check your tyre tread and tyre pressure. - Understanding the warning lights on the dash board. - Learning how to safely change a wheel on your car. - Knowing where and how to top up fluid levels. - Penalty points and their consequences (Being delivered by the PSNI) - Benefits of a telematic box (Being delivered by insurance company) - Tips for driving in bad weather and much more
There will be no test, questions or embarrassing ice breakers just a fun, yet educational evening. Also if you wish to be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is no problem, we can accommodate all.

After the massive success of last year we are happy to announce that the Ladies Night will be returning to Facebook very soon.
Since starting this in 2018 we have seen over 450 Ladies attend, which is massive! Last year however, we were inundated with enquires from local businesses (local banks, social workers, charities, community workers etc) and this took up a lot of our time and resources.
However we are now opening it up again to all our lovely Facebook followers. So kee...p an eye on the page as we will be announcing a few dates soon and they fill fast :)
You may have noticed that a number of other tyre companies have started their own Ladies Night, with pretty much the exact same material 🙄 (#awkward) and whilst we think that is great, there is a reason we have had over 450 attendees. Now we could tell you, but where is the fun in that?
We could show you instead 😊
In the evening we will take attendees through a number of areas including:

Trainee Tyre Technician - Mallusk Depot Working in a fast paced environment on almost any brand of car, you will need to have good communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team.
Although not necessary, it would be advantageous to have knowledge of tyre fitting, but it is not essential.
