All Maiden City Soccer Programmes, challenge children in a fun way to create positive results, build friendships, relationships and develop confidence.

Maiden City Soccer is a local cross community football development organisation. We introduce young players from 4 years of age to the skills of soccer. Our local community football organisation has been serving the North west and beyond for the past 21 years since it’s formation in 1990.

Schools in the Community

We provide Schools coaching in local Primary and Secondary schools in the North West. The Schools Coaching Programme- delivered under our philosophy of ’Soccer as Education’, is available to schools in any part of the Country and a vast number of Primary and Secondary Schools have participated in this well-established programme since its introduction in 1990. This programme has been very successful since its introduction into Primary and Post Primary Schools and has received tremendous feedback from all the schools, teachers and children involved.

Development Centres in the Community

Our McDonald's Sponsored Development Centres are an after school activity held in local leisure and community centres throughout the North West and Donegal. Details of these programmes can be found in the Community Section of the website.

Players are coached by Child Friendly and Fully Qualified Coaching Staff on all aspects of the game, with the focus on age related skills and drills. Every Boy and Girl who participates in the Development Centre Programme will have fun, keep fit make new friends and learn. Also for Players who participate in our Development Centres programme will be the opportunity to attend our SOCCER TRIP @ EASTER when we take kids from all our Development Centres and travel to England to be Coached by Professional Coaches over 2 Days. The trip also includes visiting a Premier League Club and attending a Premier League Match. Details of how to register for the trip can be attained by speaking to your coach at your centre.

Academy Programme - supported by the Mellon Group

The Academy programme aims to identify local talent in our schools and Development Centre programmes and advance them to our Talent Identification Centre at Lisneal College with the intention of introducing players into our Excellence programme and with Professional Coaches at work we aim to develop that talent and give youngsters the best possible start in their life long football journey. There are currently 8 Teams, u10 /u11 in North West Coleraine & District YL and u12 /u13 /u14 /u15 /u16 in National league level. Their are currently over 170 players taking part aged from 8 to 17 years.
