We are a welcoming venue in East Belfast offering yoga, complementary therapies and more.
Maitri Studio Belfast Description
Maitri (pronounced "my-tree") means lovingkindness / friendliness / compassion in Sanskrit, and we offer this studio as a welcoming, friendly and calm space for yoga and similar activities.
There are all sorts of classes here - Iyengar, Hatha and Vinyasa Flow yoga, Pilates, pregnancy and mother & baby yoga, workshops, mindfulness and more. For up-to-date listings, please visit our website www. maitristudio.net. You can also follow us on twitter @MaitriStudio.
Our opening hours show times the studio is likely to be open and /or when someone is likely to be working on admin responses. For exact times the studio will be physically open, please check our timetable.

Maitri studio is great. Last november I began atending classes here and I've been going weekly since. I attended Pilates weekly and found it excellent. Since early summer I've been going to pregnancy yoga with Miriam. Miriam creates the perfect space to unwind, stretch, meet other mams-to-be, prepare your body for labour, and enjoy your pregnancy.
There are three studios that I am aware of, with lots of natural light, mats and other accessories, such as bolisters, blocks, ropes, etc. There are plenty of toilets for the studios too.
The location is great. Parking is onstreet and free. Buses stop very close by.
Maitri provides a great range of classes and workshops but what I like best about it is the warm, welcoming community that Claire and all her colleagues have built. That's what makes Maitri special!
Maitri is an incredibly welcoming studio with so much on offer, literally something for everyone.
Maitri is a little haven in east Belfast. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent teachers - and great value for money.

I was in a desperate need of healing, meditation and relaxation and that's exactly what I received on a Chakra Retreat hosted by Orla Wallace at the Maitri studio. It was amazing!! Thank you!🙏ॐ
