Making Memories Description
Following the death of my mother, my sisters and I were left with the sad task of sorting out her clothing. While selecting suitable items for local charity shops we were reluctant to part with her favourite outfits. A friend told us of an idea she had heard about on how we could transform our mothers clothing into treasured keepsakes for all the family. Having a sewing business myself this was the ideal opportunity for me to create lasting memories of my mother. Using her clothing I designed and made a selection of cushions and throws for our family which they loved and will always treasure. After seeing my work friends approached me to make similar keepsakes for them and so "Making Memories" was born. . .
