Staying at the Maldron has become a regular thing for hubby and myself when travelling and the staff cant do enough to help you, looking forward to staying again in June before our next break. The staff very kindly upgraded us on our last visit as it was our anniversary and it was a lovely gesture.
Stayed in hotel on Sat 19th May to attend family ocassion in Antrim. We had an amazing lunch food from starter to desert was amazing. The staff were couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Room was so comfortable nearly missed breakfast. Great choice of hot an cold breakfast. Asked for two poached. Perfect just to my liking. Would like to say a special thanks to The Manager & Staff so friendly an we where looked after so well. Great place to stay would highly recommend.
Stayed here on 7th September before our early flight and I would highly recommend it. Rooms were stunning and so comfortable and I couldn't believe how quiet it was especially with being on the doorstep of the airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it made the start of our trip so relaxing. Thank you οΏ½
Stayed here hotel staff very nice and helpful room was lovely and clean meals also very good and great service.Will be staying again when going on my holidays and can safely leave my car there with such a short distance to walk across to airport to book in...
Stayed here for family first communion, the staff were excellent, food amazing, so friendly and couldnβt do enough for our family. If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion this is the place to book, thank you
So impressed with the staff, I went down for my meal from sitting down to eating was less than 10 minutes, which in itself is impressive the amazing thing is I decided to enter the dining area the same time as a large french tour group! Every member of staff jumped into action and it was like watching a well oiled machine. Well done and keep up the good work!
My wife and I stayed here on the 26th April and decided to upgrade to an executive room. Well worth it. We found the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Emmett who I think was a manager, such a pleasant cheerful guy! Also to Martin and Colleen in the restaurant. Very attentive and couldn't do enough! Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. I have already booked to overnight here again on my next trip in September.
I would like to thank all of the wonderful staff at the Maldron Hotel who helped myself and my colleagues on Saturday with 130 passengers on a delayed flight. They managed to provide a great breakfast and super two course lunch with no notice. Truly appreciated by all at Oasis Travel.
I won a Facebook competition in November 2017, a meal for 2 with a bottle of wine! My husband and I went this evening (feb 2018). Fabulous service and beautiful food! We both left stuffed, would definitely recommend this hotel for a meal out!! Thank you again Maldron Hotel!!
I messed up on the date of my booking (my bad) but the good people at The Malfron honored my booking and made sure we had a room for the night, they did not have to do that, BUT THEY DID. π The room was comfortable and the food was excellent. Thank you Maldron.
Got stranded here on weds 1st March from Scotland. The staff were amazing couldn't do enough to help us we were all treated like royalty. Would like to say a special thanks to Brian the manager who was exceptional to us all. Lovely place to stay in and certainly the staff were amazing.
Came in here before our flight as we had a bit of spare time. Staff were fantastic and even threw in a bottle of bubbly as I was on my hen! Great service and lovely food. Thanks so much ladies οΏ½
Booked the Maldron Belfast as we had an early flight to Palma and thought it was the easiest option with two young children. Was very impressed with the hotel and more so the staffs attention to customer service. We ate in the hotel the night of our stay and the food was very good, the chef even came out to see exactly what vegetables the wee man would like.
Part of the deal included car parking for a week which was very handy due to the close proximity to the airport, more so walking straight to the car on return. I am on the hunt for the next family holiday and booking the Maldron Belfast will be the next priority when this is done. Its the perfect start to your holiday, especially with the early morning flights.
Stayed here for a night 26/7/18 before our early flight, heading off on Honeymoon. Requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel. We were given a really quiet area. Room was clean, nice white bed linen. Bottled water which is always welcome. Staff had left a Honeymoon token - chocolates and fruit, a lovely touch which we appreciated. Hope to return sometime when we have more time to lounge around. Many thanks Maldron Hotel.
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Evening meal was very good and your sea food chowder is absolutely delicious. The best I've ever tasted. My only complaint was the breakfast. No hot food left at 9.15am and the porridge was cold. Staff just brought out extra bacon and sausages but nothing else. If the breakfast had been better I'd have given The Maldron Hotel a 5*.
Currently staying at the hotel after a late check in and long flights, unfortunately at 8.30 am constant hammer drilling and hammering on the Ceiling of the room due to works going on in the hotel which are not listed on the web site, be warned, if you do not intent to rest in the room you paid full rate for this is the hotel for you, if not steer clear, when we called to reception too ask about it we were told they did not have to let us know before we booked in, and that's that live with it, so up too you !!!
The reason for the low score is that the room was like sleeping in an oven. Out of 4 lights in the room one only worked. The shower above the bath is an accident waiting to happen. That said the staff are fab and the meal excellent. Hotel due a refurbishment.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovation - consequently, there is some noise and a few minor problems were evident in my recently renovated room, for example, the fuse blew when I tried ironing a shirt. However, staff were attentive and rectified issues swiftly. As rooms go, it was pretty standard in terms of fittings and fixtures - a little disappointing in the lack of toiletries - just the fixed soap dispenser. I'm getting used to the assorted items provided in the higher end hotels!
I usually stay here if I have an early flight and can say I've never had a problem. But I stayed her on Wednesday night along with my husband and was very disappointed. The toilet wouldn't flush properly at all and the room was not the best. I did mention to the guy who was checking us out these problems, but he never took us on. Β£94 without breakfast Its a bit steep. I think my days of staying here are now finished.
