As part of Science Week celebration join Joy O’Reilly from Sligo and local Geopark Guide Desmond Gough to learn about the benefits and reasons why meditation is so helpful to us in our everyday lives. Located on the Geopark site Jamp Ling Tibetan Buddhist Centre is an excellent place to find out how a regular meditation practise can assist you in living your best life with a healthy mind and body.

Did you know that the hind legs of squirrels are double jointed which gives them the ability to run up and down trees very quickly? At this time of year it’s extra helpful for them to store nuts in time for winter!

We are delighted to launch the shiny new 'Field Guide to the Geodiversity of the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark' (catchy - we know). This weather resistant guide has been developed to assist post-primary teachers in using the remarkable outdoor classroom that exists in the Geopark.
There are a limited number of hard copies of the guide which will be distributed to each secondary school within the Geopark area. The guides are also available to download. For more inf...o check out the below link!
These field guides have been developed with the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland with funding through the Drifting Apart project.

The Cuilcagh Mountain scenic route takes you all the way round the majestic Cuilcagh Mountain at the heart of the Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark. This breath-taking journey takes in some of the most stunning landscape and natural and built heritage that the Geopark has to offer. The itinerary starts at the Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre but the route can be started from any of the stopping points.

We were there today. Seriously under sold attraction in N.I.! Great tour guide who was very informative. Only criticism is that your shop could do well to sell books about the caves.
We went today and done the tour it was brilliant definitely worth the vist. The tour guide Kieran was brilliant very informative and great fun even kept the kids entertained the whole way through. We would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
Two people. Noreen at reception, who showed extreme kindness and made a lasting impression on me. Then nial the tour guide. Funny informative, a breath of fresh air. Caves are spectacular. Well worth a visit
Had a brilliant time and our tour guide, Kieran, was excellent and good fun and kept us all entertained through the tour while be very informative.

Great place to visit - Surroundings and the caves themselves are fantastic. Tour guide, Oisin, was very pleasant and knowledgeable - Recommended him for an immediate pay rise! Not expensive either and the cafe is good.
