Markethill Elim Pentecostal Church Description
Our Sunday morning service consists of prayer, being led into God’s presence by our lively and vibrant praise team, spending precious time reflecting on the cross during communion, and of course being spiritually fed from God’s Holy Word. Creche runs during the preaching and Impact (children’s church) will run along side the morning service. There will also be another room for nursing mums if needed where the service will be relayed via video.
Our Sunday evening Gospel service currently starts at 7pm. However, from January 2013 it will begin at the earlier time of 6pm which will be more accessible for our young families. The Family Gospel Service will include children and youth in various activities & fun surprises (???). Also included will be various singers, testimonies and the Gospel will be preached by our Pastor and other various speakers. Various other ministries, such as our discipleship course and Envision (youth group) will begin at 7: 30pm while others fellowship in the main church.
The mid-week meeting consists of small group discussions or Bible study, intercessory prayer and a short time of worship.
