Simple bud vase in ash, with glass insert to allow fresh stems in water.
Just finished:- a acorn shaped ring or trinket box turned from spalted mountain ash and mahogany. The lid has been embellished inside and outside. Approx 3in tall by 2 in wide. Enjoy.

This is a superb goblet shaped wooden tea light/candle holder, hand turned in irish spalted Mountain Ash This goblet was turned from a storm felled tree.
... This would make the perfect gift for someone who loves a unique item. This is also suitable for a 5th wedding anniversary, which is symbolised by wood.
Each tealight holder I turn comes with a glass candle insert which protects the wood from the heat of the tea light.The size of this piece is 135mm tall by 58mm wide (5 3/8in by 2 1/3in)

Yesterday's project, a female figure inspired by the work of Greek woodturner Nikos Siragas. Turned from a fabulous piece of field maple. Six inches tall. Available, just PM me.

Another tealight holder, this time in irish Ash with a natural edge. This one is on its way to Brooklyn, NY.
Unique Mothers Day present:- wood turned ring, trinket box, handmade from Laburnum. Mushroom shaped.
This is a superb wooden box, handmade from a spectacularly figured piece of Laburnum. Both parts have been wood turned from the same branch and have been left with the bark attached at the lid edge (natural edged).
This box show the beautiful contrasting grain between the heartwood and the sapwood that is why I find laburnum so fascinating. The centre of the the lid also has s...ome wonderful bark inclusions, which add to the character of this piece.
The size of this piece is 55mm tall by 85mm wide (2 1/8 in by 3 1/4 in)
