Very happy with the results of my recent bike fit by Lance and also the sales team - a friendly and professional bunch of lads.

Top quality. I came in out of the sun, desperate and destitute with a sheared pedal and a long dander home pushing a bike in front of me. They took pity on me and fitted brand new pedals for whatever I could spare. Fantastic service will definitely be back if I ever fancy a decent bike. Thanks lads!

These guys are top notch, very friendly and attentive. Had a problem with a new bike which was sorted immediately. I have no worries whatsoever should anything else arise, it will be dealt with.

Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert Carbon 6 Fattie review



Keen to test the the new Specialized Stumpjumper FSR expert carbon 6Fattie, I asked if this was possible at McConvey cycles Belfast. Within a few weeks I got a call from the shop to say that they had got a Specialized fattie and was welcome to test it out for a day.Some cool features of this bike include the hidden multi tool which fits under the rear shock, the chain link inside the headset and the new swat door which allowed space for my tube and a few gels inside the frame!



Collected the bike and made haste to the trails at Castlewellan. This bike was fast with amazing grip from its 3 inch tyres. No need to be careful over the rock gardens, just straight up the middle with ease, taking the corners with speed due to the confidence I had with the grip. The light weight carbon frame helped me breeze up the climbs saving my legs to enjoy the descents.



Overall I had a great day out on this rocket, well worth considering if you are looking for a new bike. Thanks to the very helpful team at Mcconvey cycles for setting me up with the bike

McConveys is the best bicycle shop I have ever had the joy of encountering. The #bikeshopboys are second to none, not just in knowledge and advice but also in terms of friendliness and customer service. You are guaranteed to be greeted with a smile and some well hearted banter. The turnaround on bike repairs is incredibly quick, and you can always trust your bike is in safe hands. The bike fit with Lance is something I would strongly recommend, really, it's actually minorly incredible the difference it makes to your cycling, both proficiency and enjoyment. And i'm biased because I love my bike and it's a specialized, but as one of the few stockists of said brand it's worth a wee casual browse, for Peter Sagan and Lizzie Armistead aren't the worst pair of cyclists in the world and what sort of bike are those two on? So don't go to halfords, go here, you're not only supporting a local business but you're getting an awful lot more for your money, both in terms of bike and the experience and knowledge of the staff. Basically it is unequivocally tremendous.

The service, help and advice I received from start to finish from Lance was the brilliant. I also got a bike Fit from Lance and I have to say that it is well worth spending the money on.

Lance has fitted me on all of my bikes so that when I jump onto each one at anytime they all feel like I'm riding the same bike. I would highly recommend the retul bike fit. Had a first class experience at McConveys today. A poor bike fit by the original retailer was causing me pain in my left knee and both hands. Lance, on the other hand, is extremely knowledgable about the mechanics of both the bike and body and made multiple adjustments. I've already been for a short ride and the improvements are immediately noticable. HIghly impressed by the professional service and advice received and would recommend.

Great shop well stocked with a great range of clothing, parts and bikes. Bike fit is a fantastic asset too. Helpful and knowledgeable staff make this a great one stop bike shop.

Fast,efficient service shipping bike to Berkshire,thanks to all,will definitely use agin

Fantastic service, great people. Thank you for fixing my bike 'at the drop of a hat' so I could continue my journey to Portstewart. It's running as well as when it was new!

Brought my MTB in this afternoon, Saturday, around 2pm, it needed some attention to the headset, rear brakes and bottom bracket, Steve said it would be ready on Monday, but later about 4.30pm got a text to say bike ready for collection! And it was well sorted, couldn't ask for better service, highly recommended.

Bought road bike from McConveys with help from Will and subsequently had a Retul bike fit with Lance which sorted out some injuries I was experiencing at the time. I then changed my bar set up a few months back and was having some problems- a follow up session with Lance sorted this out immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend this service- money well spent!

Best bike shop in Belfast. All the lads are really helpful. I've had my Ebike back in for service work. They kept me right and up to date every step of the way. Couldn't of asked for better!!!

As a female newcomer to road cycling going into a bike shop can be daunting. Not so at McConveys - all the staff are friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. We bought a bike for me through them (thanks Will) and a few months later had a Retul bike fit done with Lance - brilliant experience. The new bike is so much more comfortable for me and the fit just made everything feel even better. Highly recommend these guys.

Saddle ordered online, arrived in 3 days, good price on par with big retailers, so happy days :)



PS you only have some saddle sizes, but I suppose that's cos otherwise you end up with bucketloads of unsold stock...
