Great shoe shop and very friendly staff. We have a great shopping experience any time we are in with my two girls. The cafe is good to.

Mckillens is the best store for shoes. Staff are always brilliant. My son has insoles for his shoes so they were great about that! Didnt make a fuss or make him feel different.
I bought great school shoes and p.e. shoes within seconds because the young girl with red hair was fantastic.

Very good experience - the guy really knew what he was talking about and I'm very pleased with the shoes that I bought.

Staff have really gone downhill in the last few years. I was informed by a member of thier staff that my size 11 feet would comfortably fit into a size 9 shoe after he measured it with must have been his ears as he did not read the gage! Yes you can enter the building in a wheelchair and yes there is a lift but much of the store especially the children's shoes is not accessible. The ramp to the children's shoes is almost a 45 degree slope and downright dangerous for a wheelchair or a pram. The toilets are completely inaccessible. In the event of making a complaint expect much arrogance and denying of the problem.

Ive been going to mckillens shoes for 30 years getting my 3 childrens shoes and hv always had a great experience but today my daughter and i took my 6 year old granddaughter to get her school shoes and the young girl that was serving us was any thing but helpful no interaction with my grandaughter . When i asked about a shoe my granddaughter liked on the shelf your young employes answer to this was "this is seriously all we hv in her size" her attitude stinks .i handed over £46 for my granddaughters shoes and didnt even get a Thank you a smile nothing . Think some of the staff could do with some customer service training . Im just sorry i didnt complain at the time .

Ive had a similar complaint. I went into his store at 5:05 thinking I could get a pair of Clarkes for my baby boy. The stairs were cordoned off and I had asked why. What I got from Mr Matthews was incredible! He mumbled something. I asked again and was asked , "do you speak english?" I thought he may have thought I was foreign. So I asked again. He said , "Are you stupid!"
I was so shocked! I asked to speak to the Manager, but he said he was the owner. I explained I have never been spoken to so badly. He told me , "be on your way". After this I said if he ever heard of the internet, that it will be reviewed. He said a gruff , "good day!"
As I was leaving a passerby heard me say to my friend that no way he was the owner, the passer by chipped in that he was and thats why she goes to Coleraine for Clarkes.
Please can someone read this and open a Clarkes store. Ive 4 growing boys who need good footwear. I will pledge my support. Im sure many others will too. Lets close this dinosaur down.
Ive suggested an edit on the hours. It should not read 17.30 when clearly the old codger does not want trade after 5!
