Today on 23rd of April, it is Shakespeare Day! We are celebrating by launching “The M.I.S. Letter Project”.
In June 2018, The Daily Express did a survey in the UK and found out that young people hardly ever pick up a pen, with 65% of 25-34-year olds using one fewer than five times a week!!
To celebrate Shakespeare Day, we would like to provide one local community project, school or club with a token of support up to the value of £500. This could be for a specific purchase ...of equipment / supplies; or meet a specific need perhaps for a repair or other service; or we could release some of our staff to carry out some work for which you require volunteers. All we ask is that you go back in time and send us a handwritten letter, explaining how and why your project should be picked. Send it to,

Our HR Manager was very excited when she arrived at work this morning to find that MIS - or rather our new shutter by Ace SprayWorks NI - has recently been added as a “Poke-stop” on the popular kids app, Pokemon Go. Of course, Krystal claims that the app is only on her phone for her 2 young children but none of us believe that! 🤣🤣🤣 Is Krystal the only Poke-fan left or do folk still play it?

Our website designers Flint Studios, very generously gifted their services & expertise to our nominated charity Hope House Ireland when we launched our fundraising campaign for them last year. The new website allows patients to apply online to stay at Hope House & enables supporters to donate online. So far £12,000 has been donated through the website! What should I do if I have an accident??🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
. .. It’s not a nice thought, but car accidents happen and it’s important to know what to do if you’re caught up in one. When you have an accident, first of all you should go to a safe place. For example, side of the road or the footpath. If somebody is injured, you should call an ambulance or try to get medical help. Try to take photos of the accident showing damage, registration numbers and location. If you have dash cam footage, that is also very helpful. You should ask the other party(s) name(s), address(es), insurance details, make, model and registration of the vehicles involved.

Today we are saying goodbye to one of our long serving members of staff who is retiring after 18 years’ service.
Mandy came to us from Hughes Insurance in April 2001 and has been a loyal and valuable member of our claims staff ever since. She has made many friends here within the MIS family and will be missed. Mandy has plans to travel with her husband and being a dedicated horse lover, is looking forward to spending more time with her four legged friends.
We wish Mandy a happy & healthy retirement!🥰

I was so impressed with the service from MIS following our car accident. They made what was a stressful situation a lot less stressful and really looked after us.



They took all the details, explained the process to us, they even had a hire car delivered to our home the next day and took our car away to the garage to be fixed.



The hire car was so much better than I expected, it was like having a brand new car and it was a similar size as our car so we weren't left having to "make do" with a smaller car.



All the staff we dealt with were so helpful throughout the process and I can't thank them enough!

I have to say that Tracy Waring and Ross in Dundonald Office have made my day. More than helpful after a stressful hit and run incident in Belfast. The customer service, car rental and understanding nature and support around other issues has been excellent ! Mark in Wrights was also excellent. Hope I don't have to go through this again though !

My car got stole 6 months ago, and I still haven’t received news about what is happening. I’ve a new born baby and with out a car, I’m sure ya can imagine how frustrated I am, every time I call them they bum me of with some mad excuse. I’ve been paying car insurance for the last 6 months for a car that’s been found burnt out. These people are useless.

I would not advise anyone to use this MIS I was injured seriously October, 5th 2016 by a third party car reversing to do a U Turn while I was getting into a parked car. The Insurance compainies failed to even investigate the damage to either car. I have been held like a pawn in a game of cards between two Solicitors firms working for themselves and the Insurance Companies but not giving a dam about the injured innocent person. I am not taking this any more new years resolution starts to-day, fight back and take my case as far as it needs to go to get my fair compensation for my injury.
