Happy Valentine’s Day to all our lovely customers 🥰😘

Tonight I’m keeping it really simple to show how quick and easy a healthy fish dish is to make. But saying that most fish dinners that I make are simple and quick as I’m always ravenous by the time I get home from work.
On this evening’s menu is haddock with lemon, rapeseed oil and herbs cooked in a cook bag, served with microwave rice and a side salad. Done and dusted in 15 mins. 👌🏻

I haven’t warmed all day so there was nothing else for it than a big steaming hot bowl of Chowder with homemade oaty wheaten treacle cob. At last I’ve thawed out!

I’ve obviously taken leave of my senses as I usually refuse to cook on a Saturday night, but there were 2 portions of hake left in the fridge from Thursday night. Tonight we had pan fried HAKE topped with crispy leeks and caramelised lemon juice, served with a cheesy spinach mornay and creamy champ / roasted baby potatoes. Delicious!!
