You will learn about the geological processes that formed the mountains and discover how generations passed left their mark on the landscape. From the quarrying in the high Mourne's to the building of the Mourne Wall and the construction of Silent Valley and Ben Crom Reservoirs. You will also discover how the region was impacted by the second world war. Plus you will enjoy stunning scenery with views to the Isle of Man, The Cooley Mountains, Lough Neagh and on rare occasions the Mull of Kintyre, Scotland
