Went to see game night. Absolutely no complaints nice clean cinema no sound or screen complaints. Staff very friendly and nachos well simply just love the Nachos. Crazy Tuesday is the best cheaper tickets.

Went here yesterday in CitySide and it was fab! Cheap cinema food and cheap tickets. Went to see Mamma Mia (Original) for Mothers Day with my three friends and it was class which was all because of the staff who were dancing and clapping, getting the audience going as it was a sing alone. This was the best film experience I’ve had at any cinema and I would recommend as they are all friendly!!

I had the pleasure of getting to a preview of The Incredibles 2 with my son, niece and nephew. The staff are super efficient and friendly. I’ve always had a very good experience when going to Movie House. Good value & and comfy enough seats

Good cinema prices but like most cinemas the food is expensive however, they don't object to you bringing your own in. Free parking too.

Absolutely most pleasant and courteous server yesterday. Hannah had a laugh with myself and my friend about nachos and the cheesefear. The staff we are so pleasant unlike one of their other cinemas . So I wanted to give a special thank you for renewing my faith in movie house and a special shout out to Hannah .

The day we went it was very quiet. I found queuing at shop counter a bit confusing. I hope on busy days there is a dedicated till. Because it was so quiet we had a private showing. A whole cinema to ourselves. We enjoyed "zoo". On our exit a member of staff was waiting to clean but had a chat with us. Very friendly. All areas appeared clean even the toilets. Signage regarding films showing could be better. All in all we quite like city side

It's one of the best cinemas for people being well behaved during the film, unlike

Victoria Centre cinema and Dublin Road where people talk repeatedly, look at their phones and generally are so self absorbed that they forget that others are watching the film too.

Staff are excellent.

Only one criticism - its too cold at times.

A great afternoon watching Infinity War in 3D! New, redesigned foyer is good - although there were plenty of staff only one was serving so the queue was slow. But we’d left plenty of time before the film started so all was good. The screen room was great, well cleaned and the seats were comfortable. Sound and picture were excellent- and when we were leaving there were staff waiting to collect our rubbish off of us to save them having to empty bins! Toilets could be a little better signposted. But I’m knit picking. It was a great, good value, enjoyable afternoon at the cinema! What more could you want?

Massive queue on the way in basically not good

Not everyone wants to buy over priced junk food as well as their ticket . I know I didn't my pockets were stuffed.

So for everyone that doesn't want junk food I suggest a member off staff has like a little box to sit in and issue tickets .

Also the popcorn was stale but the seats were comfy.

thought Star wars the last Jedi was a bit mmeeerrr.

I could not believe that no waste bins are provided at the exit of the theatres. The result is that the customers are not encouraged to remove their cups/popcorn boxes/crisp bags and there is total devastation at the end of the movie.. the theatre i was in was a complete disaster area...i pity those left to clean it up.

Had a great experience only thing wuz the air con made the room quite cold

User

Film amazing yet never any staff to direct you to seats when the screen is busy? Certain areas and the toilets need a good scrub but overall a ‘good’ experience. Where possible bring your own snacks unless it’s pay day!

User

Don't like the change @ Yorkgate of not being able to purchase your tickets at a separate booth, therefore we had to stand in a queue for ages waiting on customers buying their coke & popcorn even though we were not having any. Movie tickets & popcorn should be separate. Like other people have stated, the air con was really cold during the movie but hay ho Mama Mia was brilliant

User

Big queues on way in no lift at the stairs you have to go out to get the lift the toilets were discussing and the food was over priced

User

why is it everytime i come here to watch movie its spoiled by the aircon freezing the place out and everybody sitting cold with coats and jackets wrapped around them. currently 8n screen 3 if you want to check for yourself but bring a coat

User

the girl Mairead who served us our drinks must really love her job. I must say i really loved getting served by someone who looked like she could do with a few prozac

Went to the 7:30pm showing of HEREDITARY and four *adults* sat behind us and gave a running commentary throughout the entirety of the movie. I'm not being overly dramatic when I say it spoiled the movie for the four of us - in fact I will reserve full judgement of the movie until I have seen it a second time... in the more movie-friendly environment of my house on blu-ray. Ironically I posted this on Facebook just before the movie started:

The opening night of the most anticipated horror flick [of the last few years] and there can't be any more than 50 people here. And I thought horror fans were [by far] the most dedicated and loyal bunch of folk...

My bemusement is tempered with the aforementioned scenario - it all makes sense now. . .

Very uncomfortable seats, toilets completely stank, just to add to the experience audience was awful. Went to see Heritage on Sat afternoon, quite empty which was great as it's film that needs a quiet audience. Except there were kids ithat sat down that were far too young, talked, ran about, rustled plastic bags, dropped bottles the ENTIRE film. So a really lousy experience and wouldn't be any rush back again to this cinema.

Very poor service, we purchased our tickets online to us time, but the queue was massive not enough staff to serve at the snack counter, was told the snack counter up stairs would open at 6pm went up to wait only to be told it won't be opening until 6.20pm which meant we would miss the start of our movie, I spoke with a manager who to me looked like he had just woke up, he was of no help said he would get more staff on the down stairs counter, so we went and took our seats, then had to come back out for the snacks and missed the bloody start of the movie, not a happy customer at all and the bloody popcorn was damp not fresh 😡
