Jean would like to extend her thanks to all her family, friends, neighbours and valued customers who have passed on their condolences and offered support following the sad passing of her brother Joe McGlinchey.
A special thanks to all those who attended the wake and funeral in Stranorlar these past few days. It was a great comfort to her and all of Joe’s family. May Joe Rest in Peace.
Joe lived his life by the simple Serenity Prayer in the image attached. Perhaps more of us could adopt his outlook in life...

We are sad to announce the passing of Jean's dear brother Joe McGlinchey yesterday afternoon.
Joe’s remains will repose at his late home (Mullindrait, Stranorlar) from 3 p.m. on Wednesday 2nd January.
Funeral from his late home on Friday 4th January at 10.30 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. in The Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Churchyard, Crossroads, Killygordon.

Well what a night we had last night in the Strule Arts Centre Omagh! Kicking off the show we had the debut performance BIG Shay and Country Memories. The band went down a treat as everyone relived their own ‘Country Memories’ and the magic sound of BIG Tom. Next up we had Niamh Lynn Music who wowed the audience with her amazing vocals and songs from the great ladies of country music.
Then came the star of the show all the way from New Mexico USA. We were so honoured to bring Will Banister and The Modern Day Ramblers back to an Omagh audience and my word, he did not disappoint. If this wasn’t real country music, what is? Will put on a genuinely fantastic show and earned himself a standing ovation plus multiple encores. What an entertainer....
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the show. Here’s to the next one!
