Neddy Teddy'S Day Nursery

Linda, from Nedz at Thrushfield, and her daughter Katie were inspired by This Morning to create this Easter Egg Hunt at home. We hope all our parents and children have a safe and happy Easter.

Jayne from Nedz at Thrushfield and her daughter Cara have been keeping busy at home making lots of arts and crafts. Jayne kindly shared the instructions on how to make salt dough, which Cara used to make this beautiful rainbow. 🌈

For all of you who have unsolved Rubik's Cubes lying around the house, Megan, from Nedz Too, has got her fiancé's brother to make a really helpful video on how to solve them!

Today's craft idea comes from Susan at Neddy Teddy's and her daughters Chloe and Hannah.
Hannah and Chloe are really missing their friends in the Adventures Room in Nedz Too. ❤️💜🌈

We are missing the boys and girls who come to all three nurseries. The staff at Nedz at Thrushfield wanted to show that we may be apart but we are all in this together. We are really looking forward to the day when we see you all in person. x

We have had further clarification and we are open for business as usual across the three nurseries.
We will be continuing our high hygiene standards to minimise cross contamination.

COVID -19 Update
Schools and preschools were told that they were to close to children by Friday 20 March 2020. We have had clarification that this closure directly relates to funded pre-school provision across the community, voluntary and independent sector however currently there has been no guidance for day cares.
It is our understanding therefore that we will continue to remain open next week and will be providing childcare as usual until we are advised otherwise.
... We will continue to update you on Government information when we have it.

Following today’s announcements regarding school closures it is our understanding that all three nurseries will remain open on Thursday and Friday of this week but may be closed from Monday.
We are still seeking clarification on this from Regulatory bodies and will issue more information when we have it.

The boys and girls in the Toddler Room in Nedz at Thrushfield enjoyed pinching, poking and pulling clay - messy play is definitely a big favourite with them!

We currently have positions across our three nurseries.
We are looking for Afterschools Nursery Assistants with driving responsibilities in our Nedz Too and Nedz at Thrushfield nurseries. The successful applicant will be expected to hold a minimum qualification NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, have at least 2 years previous experience working with children within a childcare setting, an up to date Safeguarding Certificate and a clean full UK driver licence.

To round off our World Book Week the Toddlers in Nedz at Thrushfield went on a Bear Hunt. They didn't spot any bears but they did get to see a baby calf!

Nedz at Thrushfield children loved reading their favourite books on World Book Day. Throughout the week we have had Teddy Bears Picnics, very Hungry Caterpillars, delicious Gingerbread Men and many more. All the children loved listening to the stories and watching them come to life through play.
