Neil Mathews Architects Description
Formed 11 years ago, the practice prides itself that every project is delivered with diligence and a comprehensive, personal and hands-on service to our clients. Our portfolio of work speaks for itself and our clients will give reference to the service we provide. As well as operating a successful private practice Neil contributes to a variety of other professional and civic roles, among these are being chair of the jury in the RIBA awards for the north-east region of the UK, and shortlister for the RIBA London awards in several seasons over the last ten years. Neil was one of the founder members of the London Urbanism and planning group of the RIBA which placed design review panels of architects with planners in all London regions and this continues to grow in success year by year. Closer to home, Neil has been a council member of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects for the last two years, has been convenor of the events committee, has sat on the perspective committee and is currently chair of the mid and east Antrim borough council RSUA liaison group. The practice maintains a good, close working relationship with the Northern Ireland Planning Office and is able to guide clients through the process from conception to completion.
