Did you know that St Martin de Porres was born in Lima, Peru on the 9th September 1579? 👼🏾🇵🇪🗓 When he was a mere 15 years of age, he began to work for the Dominican Convent of the Rosary, as a servant boy ⛪️

Saint Catherines Annual November Tree of Life, is now in place on the side Altar, as in previous years you are invited to write your Deceased Loved One’s Name on the tags provided and they will be remembered in Masses during the month of November. Thanks to Joanie for adding some lovely images on the Tree, the little Angels are in memory of all the babies who God called Home.
Today is the Feast Day of Saint John Paul II. Always will be fondly remembered by the people of Ireland.

REMINDER : The Annual Dominican Christmas Bazaar takes place on Saturday 30th.November and Sunday 1st.December 2019. The organising Committee would greatly appreciate any donations of unwanted / unused gifts suitable for male / female , aftershaves, perfumes etc. Any festive foods, drinks, wine, spirits, mince pies, Christmas cakes, puddings, biscuits, sweets etc. Items can be left in the Lectio Centre any day during their opening times 10-00am - 5-00pm. for attention of Marie. The Committee are grateful for your continued support each year for donations and supporting the Bazaar on both days, thank you all.
Remember this week, it’s always good to help your neighbour.
