Newtownabbey Young Life

Newtownabbey Young Life is an interdenominational Christian youth group for those in their teens and twenties. It is a local branch of the National Young Life Campaign.

Newtownabbey Young Life is an interdenominational Christian youth group for those in their teens. It is a local branch of the National Young Life Campaign, which is a national network of Christian youth groups based in the UK.

The aims of Young Life are to reach non-Christians with the gospel and disciple and train young Christians to continue in their faith.

The Newtownabbey branch is run by a committee of Christians who share Young Life's vision of evangelism and discipleship.

The branch currently meets about twice a month on a Saturday night usually from 19: 30-21: 30 at St. Patrick's Church, Jordanstown for fun games, a short Christian talk and for some food etc.

The branch also takes part in fun filled activites outside the usual meeting place once a month for the branch's 'Saturday Nite Takeaway' programme which involves different activities such as bowling, laser quest and mini golf etc.
