... Solid performance from Jordans men who went to the summit of Res Div1 with victory in Lisbellaw. Despite missing a hat full of chances early on they eventually took their them with the impressive Morrision and Duffy grabbing a brace a each adding to early goals from Beatty and Keys.
Manager Jordan spoke to NFC Kesh Social Media after and said "Im happy with the final result, being honest we should of been out of sight after 30mins but it's another 3pts and that's what we came here for"
NFC Kesh Social Media MOTM: A close call between our two double goal scorers and the ever green Alan Stumpy Johnston, with centre back Morrison putting in an excellent shift against one of his former clubs & stumpy covering every blade on the left delivering a real attacking threat, but it goes to Mark Duffy who's two strikes could of graced any game in any league.

Reserves 5-2 Tummery Res
With our first team having no fixture, the social media team this week decided to run the rule over our reserves who recorded a brilliant 5-2 win over Tummery Athletic Reserves to put them 2nd in Reserve Division One in their best start to a season in many a year.... Our young reserve team have been unbeaten so far this season and came into the game with confidence high after hitting 11 the week before against Ekn Town. They got off to the dream start after 4 minutes when Stephen Simms down the right wing played a great square cross to the red hot Josh Flack to apply the finish in the corner from 6 yards out. Tummery were attacking with purpose with household names Beacom, Hanna and McCaffrey to the fore and we defended well in the opening period to keep our lead which we doubled on 25 minutes when Alex Holder crossed from the left to the soaring Josh Flack who directed an outstanding header from 12 yards out into the corner. We had a guilt edge chance to put the game to bed a few minutes later when Flack picked out Simms at the back post for a header into an open goal but only he will know how the ball ended up off target. In the second half the third goal did come on 53 minutes when Flack turned Paul McHugh and was took down in the penalty box. Ryan Morris stepped up to confidently blast into the bottom corner. There was always the feeling with Tummery’s firepower that the game would never really be put to bed and they got back to 3-1 when McNabb found McCann in acres at the back post and he took his time to control and finish with the excellent Justin Cashel helpless to stop. Thankfully we got our 4th a couple of minutes later when Flack picked out Aaron Graham who coolly found the bottom corner. The pace and movement of the exciting young triumvirate of Flack, Simms and Graham was causing Tummery all sorts of problems at this stage with only composure lacking on occasions as good openings were squandered. We had another miss of the season contender soon after when an outstanding team move involving Stumpy, Graham and Holder left last week’s man of the moment Gareth Keys with a tap in. Its not easy being Keysy and he may have had to stretch too much, which is what we’ll blame on the effort going wide. Tummery scored a 2nd with 20 mins to go. After a typically robust but fair challenge from Matty Morrison, Tummery were awarded a harsh free at the edge of the box which we never really cleared our lines from and eventually the ball fell to Gerry McCullough to apply the finish. We were glad of the 5th when it came with 5mins to go with Ollin Beatty found free at the back post for a tap in and we held on for the remainder to seal a fine win. MOTM: Mark Duffy had a very impressive game in the middle of the park against esteemed company but it was Josh Flack that was too hot to handle and who Tummery never got to grips with all afternoon.
