... Location: 130 Rubane Road, Kircubbin, Co. Down, BT22 1AU.
5K 10K & Half Marathon Runs at Kirkistown on a smooth, pan flat 1.5 mile looped circuit, officially measured PB courses, free from road traffic. This well known track offers fantastic spectator viewing with the start and finish beside the pit lane and plenty of opportunities to be cheered on around each lap as you race past. Bring your family and friends along with you. This is the perfect race for new and experienced runners to set a PB.
Headphone and push buggy friendly. All distances are ANI measured.
Run Kirkistown medals will be given to all race finishers.
Courses: 5K (2 laps + ~300m) 10K (4 laps + ~600m) HM (9 laps - ~100m).
5K entry £10. 10K entry £15. (Min. age 11+ for 5K. Min. age 15+ for 10K.)
Half Marathon entry £20. (Min. age 17+ for HM.) Water available each lap.
Enter online at sientries.co.uk/event.php?event_id=5255 or cash entry on the day.
Prizes for top 3 finishers in male, female & age categories. Timing chips, gels, bananas, water, soup & rolls, tea & coffee, biscuits and... donuts!
Proceeds (plus any additional donations) will go towards our newly started Belfast Tandem Cycling Group for blind & partially sighted cyclists (we are currently seeking sighted pilots). Beginners & Tandems inspired this idea.

3 new Duathlons at Kirkistown Race Track, on a smooth, flat 1.5 mile, accurately measured, full track laps course layout, free from road traffic.
This well known track offers fantastic spectator viewing, transition inside the pit lane car bays and plenty of opportunities to be cheered on around each lap as you race past. Bring your family and friends along with you. These are great events for new or experienced Duathletes, running or cycling club relay teams and Tandem teams. Come and give it a go, set your new PB.
Choice of 3 Duathlons (full laps using a lap counting timing system):
1.5 mile run (1 lap), 7.5 mile cycle (5 laps), 1.5 mile run (1 lap).
3 mile run (2 laps), 15 mile cycle (10 laps), 3 mile run (2 laps).
Entry fees: Individual £20. Relay team of 2 people £25.
Entry is the same for both distances, so you can decide on the day which distance to complete - even after the races start (all set off at 10am).
OR Olympic Duathlon (full laps using a lap counting timing system):
10K run (4 laps), 40K cycle (17 laps), 5K run (2 laps).
Entry fees: Individual £30. Relay team of 2 people £35.
