Nias Unison Branch Description
Welcome to the website of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) Branch of UNISON. We are the biggest union within NIAS and UNISON is Britain and Europe's biggest public sector union with more than 1. 3 million members.
The site has been created to communicate with our members and stewards as much information as is possible and more than could ever be done by paper alone. The latest breaking news can be sent out instantly to members as soon as it happens.
Behind the scenes the Officers and Stewards of Unison Northern Ireland Ambulance Branch work hard and fight on behalf of all our members.
Currently the Union is representing members on a number of issues, ranging from simple warnings and monitoring issues through to formal disciplinary hearings. We have a strong confident and well experienced leadership team that are not afraid to tackle the NIAS Management on any issue, large or small. The Union is also not afraid to represent you with full legal support in the highest court in the land if ever necessary.
